Partner
Francis is the founding partner of Vobis Equity Attorneys and has 25 years of professional legal experience spanning a diverse range of industry sectors including property, banking and finance, telecommunications, travel and digital.
Prior to forming Vobis in 2013, Francis held several influential legal roles including Company Secretary and Retained Counsel for seven years at Thomson Telecom.
Francis strategically combines his legal and business skills to provide a leadership approach to clients, assisting them to grow their businesses and often expand into lucrative off-shore markets.
He has a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, Corporate Governance from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Australia.
Associate
Adriana is an Associate at Vobis Equity Attorneys who brings extensive experience in legal drafting, and advising on a range of commercial and corporate matters.
Adriana joined the Vobis corporate and commercial team in 2015 as an Associate, and has extensive experience in commercial and corporate transactions, including advising on the sale and purchase of business, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and company structuring, as well as advising on and drafting shareholders’ agreements and implementing employee equity schemes.
She is adept at drafting and advising on a range of commercial contracts, and has, over the years, supported corporate clients with their various commercial matters across various sectors, including healthcare, IT, travel, retail and hospitality.
Having graduated with a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from The University of New South Wales, Adriana utilizes her exceptional interpersonal skills to understand and provide a tailored approach to her clients’ particular business needs. She has a particular interest in supporting SMEs and corporate clients to grow and achieve their business goals, and is focused on building longstanding relationships with her clients and becoming a valuable part of their business operations.
Associate
Alexander is an Associate at Vobis Equity Attorneys who brings to the firm extensive industry knowledge and valuable experience in legal research, writing and litigation.
Before joining the Vobis litigation team in 2017 as a paralegal, Alexander gained invaluable experience working as a Student Ambassador at The University of Notre Dame Australia for almost five years as well as a legal volunteer in 2016, at the Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS).
During this period, Alexander graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations) from The University of Notre Dame Australia. In 2017, he furthered his education at The College of Law by completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Alexander’s previous contribution to The University of Notre Dame as President of the Sydney Law Society, Social Justice Society, and Treasurer of the Student Association, has led to the development of his exemplary leadership and interpersonal skills.
Paralegal
Sarah joined Vobis Equity Attorneys as our Paralegal in February 2014 and completed her Diploma in Conveyancing in 2015. With a background in office administration for the Australian Public Service, Sarah manages all property matters through to settlement as well as office management operations for the firm.
